Tamara Levitt, Head of Mindfulness, unveils her Calm Masterclass on gratitude

Embrace the transformative practice of gratitude in our latest Calm Masterclass

There’s a lot of talk these days about gratitude, and how it can uplift your life. But it can sometimes be construed as a wishy washy concept. As a result, many people are unaware of just how impactful gratitude can be, and are unequipped to bring it into their lives.

Our very own Head of Mindfulness, Tamara Levitt, has worked hard over the years to create a regular gratitude practice. She has seen firsthand the power it has to shift our perspective and transform how we see ourselves and our lives. Today, we’re excited to unveil her Calm Masterclass, Gratitude.

In this hour-long program, now live in the Calm app, Tamara offers a toolkit to create a gratitude practice that is meaningful and lasting. Her goal is to illuminate the many benefits of gratitude, explain the challenges that get in the way of feeling grateful, and share a set of insights and exercises to help you make gratitude a daily practice. This Calm Masterclass will leave you with the knowledge and tools to bring gratitude into your life.

As Tamara reveals, gratitude isn’t a mystical experience reserved for those who float on clouds. Nor is it something we should only feel in rare bursts when something wonderful happens.

Being grateful is a practice. It’s a mindset that we can cultivate through deliberate effort. And when we do the work, over time the benefits start to show up in our lives in overwhelming ways.

As Tamara states, “As our practice grows, our base level of contentment gradually rises, transforming the way we see ourselves and our lives. Gratitude turns our failures into learning opportunities, our hardships into wisdom, our pain into healing. We see the world with more humility, appreciation, and wonder.” To sum it up, people who feel grateful are more happy, healthy, and resilient.
