Rose Nisker

Rose Nisker is Mindfulness Lead at Calm, where she creates heartfelt mindfulness programs that nurture well-being in an ever-evolving world.

Mindfulness has run through Rose's life since childhood. She grew up immersed in a family tradition of wisdom teachers and authors known for bringing fresh perspectives to the practice, and that early exposure shaped how she thinks about the work today: as something to be lived and shared, not just studied.

She went on to formalize that grounding through teacher training at Brown University and UC Berkeley, building a foundation that let her carry the practice beyond her own life and into programs designed for others.

As Mindfulness Lead at Calm, Rose creates original mindfulness experiences from concept to launch, helping people of all ages relate to their inner and outer worlds with more curiosity, compassion, and resilience.

Blending decades of experience in mindfulness and social-emotional learning with an early career in the performing arts, she brings depth, credibility, imagination, and emotional resonance to her work. Her style is warm-hearted and accessible, and she’s written and produced programs spanning the full range of human experience — from grief and anxiety to joy and wonder.

Beyond Calm, Rose leads workshops on digital well-being, stress reduction, and compassion, builds content for kids in partnership with companies like Disney and Apple TV+, and speaks to hospitals, universities, and companies on topics like stress reduction and mindful self-compassion — carrying the same accessible, heartfelt approach into every room she's in.
