Happy October, everyone!

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the Daily Calm sessions we’ll be releasing this month.

In ‘The Place,’ we’ll explore how to release our grasping tendencies in order to get present and accept what is. In ‘Edge’ I’ll debunk the fear that meditation might cause us to lose our competitive edge.

We have a special session called ‘Invincible,’ in honor of World Mental Health Day, which explores the impact of self-judgement. And in a session inspired by the Japanese artform ‘Kintsugi,’ we’ll discuss the beauty in our flaws.

In ‘Witness,’ you’ll discover how shifting our perspective can help us better manage strong emotions, and in ‘Shedding,’ you’ll learn how to let go of past hurts and regrets.

Also upcoming this month is a session titled ‘Drifting,’ where I’ll introduce how to find new momentum when feeling directionless. And in ‘A Solid Place,’ we’ll learn a practice to create a sense of grounding.

These are just some of the sessions in store for October. There are lots more to look forward to!

This month we celebrate World Mental Health Day – an occasion to increase awareness and advocate against social stigma. If you are one of the many people dealing with mental illness, know you are not alone. Many of us are walking this Earth experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. My wish for you this month is to open your heart towards yourself and others with acceptance and compassion. When you look in the mirror, I hope you see not your illness, but rather, your beauty, strength, and courage. I am cheering you on with a heart of love.

With much love,
Tamara
