Calm - Promotional Offer Terms

These are the terms and conditions that apply to a promotional offer that you have redeemed to access the Calm Premium service (each a “Promotional Offer”).


  1. Calm Terms

    These terms and conditions governing a Promotional Offer (the "Promotional Offer Terms") supplement and incorporate by reference Calm’s Terms of Service (“Calm’s Terms of Service”). All information collected by Calm under any Promotional Offer will be processed and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Each Promotional Offer is made available by Calm in connection with a paid Calm Premium subscription or Calm Premium free trial and is subject to Calm’s Terms of Service. For any Promotional Offer, in the event of any inconsistency between these Promotional Offer Terms and Calm’s Terms of Service, these Promotional Offer Terms will prevail.

  2. Promotional Offer

    Each Promotional Offer provides access to a free trial or discounted subscription of Calm Premium:

    A. at the price advertised (if any); and

    B. for an initial introductory period as further described in these Promotional Offer Terms, beginning the moment that you confirm your acceptance of the Promotional Offer advertised by either (i) entering a valid payment method as requested during redemption of the Promotional Offer, or (ii) if no payment method is requested, submitting a Promotional Offer code or fulfilling the requisite redemption criteria as advertised (the "Promotional Period"). Unless otherwise advertised, Promotional Offers do not permit or provide access to any third-party goods or services.

    If required to submit your payment details to redeem a Promotional Offer, you (i) confirm your acceptance of the Promotional Offer as advertised; (ii) accept and agree to these Promotional Offer Terms, including the relevant terms and conditions corresponding to Calm Services as set forth above; and (iii) acknowledge and agree to the Calm Terms of Service.

  3. Eligibility

    In order to be eligible for a Promotional Offer, users must satisfy all of the following conditions (each an "Eligible User"):

    A. Unless you are subscribing to a Promotional Offer that is advertised as available to past subscribers to the Service, you must be a new subscriber to any and all forms of the Service (as defined in Calm’s Terms of Service) and not have subscribed to, or accepted a trial of, the Service at any time in the past.

    B. If you are subscribing to a Promotional Offer that is advertised as available only to past subscribers to a Service, you must have been a subscriber to the relevant Service (as advertised) whose subscription expired before the date advertised.

    C. Unless otherwise advertised, provide Calm with a valid and current payment method that is approved by Calm (credit or debit cards; prepaid cards and gift cards are not valid forms of payment).

    D. Unless otherwise advertised, provide the payment method above directly to Calm and not through a third party (e.g., not through a cable or telecommunications provider or other distributor). E. Additional eligibility requirements (if any) as advertised from time-to-time in connection with a Promotional Offer.

    F. Eligible Users may accept a Promotional Offer once - previous users may not redeem the offer again.

  4. Availability

    A Promotional Offer must be accepted before the applicable expiration date advertised, if any. Except where prohibited by law, Calm reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate a Promotional Offer at any time and for any reason, in which case Calm may not honor subsequent Promotional Offer enrollments.

  5. Duration; cancellation

    The Promotional Period for a corresponding Promotional Offer shall continue for the period as advertised, subject to Section 4 above. If the Promotional Offer as advertised required your membership to or purchase of a third-party product or service, failure to maintain such membership or purchase will result in cancellation of your access to the Service. Unless you cancel a Promotional Offer before the end of the Promotional Period, you will automatically become a recurring subscriber to the Service type that you redeemed as part of the Promotional Offer and the payment method you provided will automatically be charged the then-current annual price (unless otherwise advertised). If you cancel a Promotional Offer during the Promotional Period, you will lose access to the Service and, if granted access to the Calm Premium Service through your Promotional Offer, your Calm account will switch to a Calm Free account at the end of the Promotional Period.
