Danai Gurira

Danai Jekesai Gurira is an American actress and playwright of Zimbabwean ancestry, known for her role as Michonne on The Walking Dead, an AMC television horror drama series, Okoye in Marvel's Black Panther, and as the writer of the Tony Award-winning play Eclipsed. She also founded the non-profit organization Love Our Girls, which aims to highlight the issues and challenges that specifically affect women throughout the world.
